Highlights

5 minutes into the first quarter we saw some good lessons with our progressing friends 👉👉 JOSE JIMENEZ
💺 stats:
  • He's awesome
  • From Mexico but I have not heard one word of Spanish leave his mouth
  • Asks the most random deep questions and our lessons drag on for miles 🙃 
  • Not on date yet because of reasons that I'm not able to discuss
 and 👉👉 SHARON JONES
🍹stats:
  • Single mom of 2 kids
  • Super cute
  • Owns a disco ball mirror
  • Has a desire to be baptized
  • Inconsistently comes to church (we are working on that)
Highlight halftime show going to the temple for the first time ft. 👉👉 KALEB HOUSE
🦣 stats:
  • Did family names
  • Does not know how to talk to other youth
  • Hates pictures
  • Loves the gospel
  • Has been a baller member for like 15 days
  • Baptized: January 26th
Coming in hot at the end of the third quarter 👉👉 LAWLER MEADOWS 
🐚 stats:
  • Adorable
  • Still in high school
  • Has a desire to be baptized
  • Also has the cutest little southern accent I ever did hear
  • Baptism: March 16th
And last, to end the game, riding on a spiritual high 👉👉 APRIL HOUSE
🏠 stats:
  • Mom of 9 kids (I think??? Don't quote me on that)
  • Extreme RBF 😅
  • Loves relief society
  • Baptized: February 9th🤙
🗣Summary: We had some great lessons with our friends, put our friend Lawler on date for baptism, went to the temple with Kaleb for his first time, and watched our dear friend April get baptized this Sunday. Life is joyful and everyone's hair is always wet from getting dunked! 😉

Love you guys!!! and I'm glad I get to send you emails even though it's most definitely my least favorite form of communication. 🤍🤍

  You could say this week was crappy. You could also say this week is the most memorable week I will have out here. But I have a feeling we're just getting started. So buckle up because this email's a doozy        Monday we had a great lesson with Sumu! Talked about temples and he was like "yooo I wanna go there, I've got people that need to be baptized, when can I go!??" And we were like "YOOOOO" 🙈🙈        Tuesday we had a great zone council meeting and I learned a lot 🙈 Then our member sister guerra made us delicious food 😋         Wednesday Sister Chapman literally left me and went home 😀👍 So I got my new companion.... 🥁🥁🥁 SISTER ZUFELT She's the bomb diggity and is super kind and awesome. So that night we went to our member meal and they were like "we don't know either of you but come in! Take your shoes off, we have slippers for you" and then proceeded to feed us delicious spaghetti and meatballs.  ...

Uh oh. Diego's got the L word

  Yeah! Leprosy No, Sid. 4 letters, ends with an E. Ohhh yeah... Lice. Recap rewiiiiind! 🥁🥁🥁         DUN. DUN. DUNNNNNN. TRANSFERS!! I have a new companion here in Chewacla, her name's Sister Christensen and she's literally a baller. Plays basketball and volleyball 😮 she's  awesome.  I love her to death already. The morning of transfers me and Sister Carter stayed back and our companions drove to the transfer meeting without us, meaning I didn't get to see all the awesome people but it is what it is 🫠. BUT that meant that I got to spend the morning with Sister Carter 🥰 These past few days we've been on the grind and boy it feels good to be a missionary! We are seeing so many miracles! To recap a few:    - we met a kid named Nick who has been so prepared for the gospel it's freaky. Our trio's down to two

  ¡Qué Semana! Felt like a year. Let's  run it back! First zone council meeting down and done with! ✌️🤙 I may or may not have done basically nothing to help plan it. Just made the slides look really pretty and they changed them anyway lol. Next time I'll try and contribute more than a 12 year old would!     ✔️  first time leading a zcm Right after the meeting we exchanged with the sisters in pine mountain!     ✔️  first exchange as an stl Our exchange was so fun. Pine mountain is full of old people, 2 gas stations, and one dollar general! So we knocked on some weird people's doors, sat outside both gas stations, and then sat in our car with the windows down outside of dollar general. Fun stuff! Sister Carter is so precious and sweet.
