 Alright lets go, no time to waste even though we got nothing going on today.


We went to a Baptist funeral and it was AWESOME. One of our inactive members invited us to her daughters funeral and it was the best experience of my mission so far! We were in fact the only white people in that church. It didn't even feel like a funeral tbh, by the end I forgot who died! The preacher got up, started preaching, then mid sermon he started to preach-sing! Who knew we were in a real life musical! Then everyone was shouting PREACH!! and PRAISE JESUS! and JESUS! JESUS! JESUS! and AMEN! it was awesome. So glad I got to have that once in a lifetime experience. Then as we walked out of the church people just came up and we started hugging strangers. So, like I said, mission highlight fo sho.

Then that same day we met the best member ever, Patricia. We drove up to her house, passed like 3 abandoned shacks, some goats, some broke down cars, and arrived in her driveway. There was bamboo (??) around a house that looked very abandoned. It was like the tower of terror but instead of ghosts inside it was expensive old things. You just had to be there. The door was like half open and we were sure the place was abandoned but sure enough Patricia and her husband pull up and she invited us in. She's like a super nice witch lady idk how to describe her. She's got long white hair and the most expensive clothes. She is a famous artist, and the things she's got in her house have to be worth millions. Anyway we talked to her and she was so nice and I wish we could go there more often but it's like 5 feet from our mission boundary. She's the best tho you've gotta meet her.
Then we met a super cool chick named Sharon! Mind you this all happened in a span of 4 hours. I loved Tuesday, it was the best day.

The rest of the week we just went to the Houses a lot cuz Kaleb is getting baptized this Wednesdayand Araina's baptism is Sunday.
We also did some service for a lady and just rearranged her back porch which was fun. Don't know why she needed us for that but yay for service!!
I cried a lot friday night, which was probably good for me cuz I hadn't in a fat minute, but I was totally overreacting and am completely fine now. My comp would be a terrific therapist.

  You could say this week was crappy. You could also say this week is the most memorable week I will have out here. But I have a feeling we're just getting started. So buckle up because this email's a doozy        Monday we had a great lesson with Sumu! Talked about temples and he was like "yooo I wanna go there, I've got people that need to be baptized, when can I go!??" And we were like "YOOOOO" 🙈🙈        Tuesday we had a great zone council meeting and I learned a lot 🙈 Then our member sister guerra made us delicious food 😋         Wednesday Sister Chapman literally left me and went home 😀👍 So I got my new companion.... 🥁🥁🥁 SISTER ZUFELT She's the bomb diggity and is super kind and awesome. So that night we went to our member meal and they were like "we don't know either of you but come in! Uh oh. Diego's got the L word

  Yeah! Leprosy No, Sid. 4 letters, ends with an E. Ohhh yeah... Lice. Recap rewiiiiind! 🥁🥁🥁         DUN. DUN. DUNNNNNN. TRANSFERS!! I have a new companion here in Chewacla, her name's Sister Christensen and she's literally a baller. Plays basketball and volleyball 😮 she's  awesome.  I love her to death already. The morning of transfers me and Sister Carter stayed back and our companions drove to the transfer meeting without us, meaning I didn't get to see all the awesome people but it is what it is 🫠. BUT that meant that I got to spend the morning with Sister Carter 🥰 These past few days we've been on the grind and boy it feels good to be a missionary! We are seeing so many miracles! Our trio's down to two

  ¡Qué Semana! Felt like a year. Let's  run it back! First zone council meeting down and done with! ✌️🤙 I may or may not have done basically nothing to help plan it. Just made the slides look really pretty and they changed them anyway lol. Next time I'll try and contribute more than a 12 year old would!     ✔️  first time leading a zcm Right after the meeting we exchanged with the sisters in pine mountain!     ✔️  first exchange as an stl Our exchange was so fun. Pine mountain is full of old people, 2 gas stations, and one dollar general! So we knocked on some weird people's doors, sat outside both gas stations, and then sat in our car with the windows down outside of dollar general. Fun stuff! Sister Carter is so precious and sweet.
