I've got a dirty thumb

What a great year we've had. Looking back I'm not sure what I was doing before my mission but ever since April first I've had the time of my life. I'm starting to think it isn't a prank anymore. What a joyful year though, wouldnt you agree!!? Monday came really fast, didn't it!? Seems like I sent an email yesterday! So basically the rest of Christmas was great, the Houses fed us lots of food and we were there for 3 hours. Goodbye pday! Then we were busy just as ever for the rest of the week. Some highlights: ♤ Getting bashed by a Christian who hates Muslims and then a Muslim who hates Christians in a 3 hour period πŸ™ˆ ♡ Then getting reprimanded and called out that same night in our mission leadership zoom call :) stress levels go crazy πŸ“ˆ ◇  had the weirdest interactions as we were out walking through a government neighborhood. A girl screaming at us "why are you waving!?" Girl I'm just being nice. Then we tried to walk up to these two dudes on th...

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! Happy birthday Jesus Today is a good day. 2024 years ago, our Savior was born; and now 2024 years later, we get to celebrate it. Yippee! I hope I got that timeline right. It's been a while since my last email! 9 WHOLE DAYS! crazy. Our trio is thriving in the spirit of Christmas, and we had a great week!    We had dinner with the Weasleys (the merrills- but they were basically the Weasleys)    Had an awesome lesson with our recent convert  Austin!  He's amazing. He moved to the Netherlands after miss Boggess baptized him, and he's back now so we got to talk about the Book of Mormon again and he loves it! I told him about the part where ammon cuts off people's arms and he found it very exciting. He can't wait to read it he's so tender. I quote him now, and I will say it's the best way to describe this book, "the Book of Mormon is  timeless"  πŸ˜‡     Had Christmas Zone Conference! It was so fun  and a little we...

From the Mission

To the family of Sister Wilson ,   At our Christmas Zone Conference this past week, those missionaries with birthdays in December were honored.  Sister Farias prepares her special Brazilian candy for each missionary and leads us in singing Happy Birthday in both English and Portuguese.  We thought you would like to see this picture! Though we have not served directly with Sister Wilson, we love her!  She is such a positive, loving, friendly missionary.  In the time she has served, she has gone from being trained to being a trainer herself and now a Sister Training Leader.  Though we know you miss her, especially at this holiday time, you can be very proud of the service she is giving in the GAM! Merry Christmas! The Bristol’s – Senior Social Media Couple

Golly what a day! Or week. YALL I'm  BACK IN ALABAMA !!! Auburn wanted me back so bad so here I am. Sweet freaking home Alabama baby. SO basically heres what happened at transfers. I left my area, God bless my wonderful friends Darlene, Gabriel, Darsha, I could go on! My cute little Sister Armstrong is training a new missionary! She's got this. And I went back to Auburn and Chewacla to become an  STL  and got stuck in a  TRIOOOOOO !!! DAWG I am so happy it's so fun. So yall know Auburn is a ysa since it's on campus, so this transfer they're closing the branch while everyone goes home for the break and Sister Ford (who was in Auburn before) is in a trio with me and Sister Anderson (who was in chewacla) and we are combining areas for a while! If that didn't make any sense I'm sorry Idk how to explain it. It makes sense in my mind. So yeah, I'm back in my first area and it's absolute bliss. I know everyone and I know where I'm going and it's ...

Merry jolly happy Christmas everyone! It's getting mighty cold out here! This week was incredible. First, we had an awesome zone council meeting on tuesday, then a great day on wednesday but i forgot what happened. Then on thursday we had our good friend Darlenes interview and it was so fun! Like always they fed us a yummy dinner, then the elders came and they ate cherry dump cake and Brother Dooley told bear puns. It was joyous. Then they proceeded to have the interview at the dinner table lol. Friday was THE BEST. Elder Marcus B. Nash of the quorum of the seventy came to our mission and we had a sweet training. He is so wise and I love him. Every sentence that came out of his mouth was absolute bars. And guess who I saw!?? Sister BOGGESS!!! I hadn't seen her in what feels like forever so it was so joyous. I love you Harry πŸ«ΆπŸ™ˆ Then yesterday DARLENE WAS BAPTIZED and it was so beautiful. She gave me and my comp matching bracelets and we celebrated and it was so beautiful an...

Happy Thanksgiving everyone and   SEASONS GREETING  it's officially   Christmas time  and I'm as happy as ever. This week was so weird and good and bad and I don't even know yall. It started with Tuesday. A good day, great district council, met some super cool people, and had an awesome dinner with Darlene again! Wednesday was something else. First we had a hilarious lunch with some members. One of which told me all about his gall bladder surgery hah. 😐 Then all our lessons fell through so we visited and met so many awesome people. We met this lady named Alma!! I was like "oh that means soul!" And she was like "yeah! Wait how did you know that??" And I was all "oh I'm learning spanish" and then we told her about alma in the book of mormon and she goes "oh I have one of those, I'm gonna go back and read the book of alma now" πŸ‘ Thursday was thanksgiving. No duh. And it was a blast! We weekly planned and saw nobody all day cu...
