SWEET HOME ALABAMA 🎸🎸


What's up yall!?? This week has been the craziest week of my life...

Lets hop into travel day on Thursday! Woke up at 2:30 and headed out with my buddies that were all going to Chile! Said goodbye to my dope companion and hopped on the bus to the airport at like 3 in the morning. Got to the airport and said goodbye to my awesome friends and elder Hanson 😭 and hopped on my flight all by myself like a big girl 💪 
Arrived at the giant atlanta airport and took a while to get through customs but it was chill. The senior missionaries picked me up and we drove to the mission president Farias' house in peachtree city! They have such a classic georgia casa. We did interviews and I met some other missionaries that came from the provo mtc!
Then we stayed the night at some sisters house and that next morning we had the transfer meeting where I met my super awesome new companion Sister Boggess!

Sister Boggess is literally amazing and she got whitewashed into a new area with me so we literally don't know what we're doing but it's Bueno. We are in Alabama in Auburn and we're in the ysa branch here which is super interesting. We are not in a Spanish area, but my comp is fire at Spanish so I can practice with her.

Saturday was our first full day in auburn and we walked around campus and talked to some new friends! We literally have no idea where to go or where we are but its fun. Then on Sunday we got to go to the ysa ward and meet all the members which was lit! They're literally  cracked it's awesome.

Anyway I definitely got thrown into the mission and I don't know what I'm doing but dudes and dudettes it's so worth it it's a blast!

  You could say this week was crappy. You could also say this week is the most memorable week I will have out here. But I have a feeling we're just getting started. So buckle up because this email's a doozy        Monday we had a great lesson with Sumu! Talked about temples and he was like "yooo I wanna go there, I've got people that need to be baptized, when can I go!??" And we were like "YOOOOO" 🙈🙈        Tuesday we had a great zone council meeting and I learned a lot 🙈 Then our member sister guerra made us delicious food 😋         Wednesday Sister Chapman literally left me and went home 😀👍 So I got my new companion.... 🥁🥁🥁 SISTER ZUFELT She's the bomb diggity and is super kind and awesome. So that night we went to our member meal and they were like "we don't know either of you but come in! Uh oh. Diego's got the L word

  Yeah! Leprosy No, Sid. 4 letters, ends with an E. Ohhh yeah... Lice. Recap rewiiiiind! 🥁🥁🥁         DUN. DUN. DUNNNNNN. TRANSFERS!! I have a new companion here in Chewacla, her name's Sister Christensen and she's literally a baller. Plays basketball and volleyball 😮 she's  awesome.  I love her to death already. The morning of transfers me and Sister Carter stayed back and our companions drove to the transfer meeting without us, meaning I didn't get to see all the awesome people but it is what it is 🫠. BUT that meant that I got to spend the morning with Sister Carter 🥰 These past few days we've been on the grind and boy it feels good to be a missionary! We are seeing so many miracles! To recap a few:    - we met a kid named Nick who has been so prepared for the gospel it's freaky. Our trio's down to two

  ¡Qué Semana! Felt like a year. Let's  run it back! First zone council meeting down and done with! ✌️🤙 I may or may not have done basically nothing to help plan it. Just made the slides look really pretty and they changed them anyway lol. Next time I'll try and contribute more than a 12 year old would!     ✔️  first time leading a zcm Right after the meeting we exchanged with the sisters in pine mountain!     ✔️  first exchange as an stl Our exchange was so fun. Pine mountain is full of old people, 2 gas stations, and one dollar general! So we knocked on some weird people's doors, sat outside both gas stations, and then sat in our car with the windows down outside of dollar general. Fun stuff! Sister Carter is so precious and sweet.
