Hermana Lily Wilson

  This week was full of amazing things. We caught a lot of frogs, played pickleball with our district, had a ton of pizza, and pet a lot of cute doggos!!  Tuesday we had our district council which was rad. Very fun to finally meet our district which is just a couple elders and our apartment of girlies. We had a few member meals this week (which is kinda crazy since it's ysa and they're always busy and poor) and they were amazing! Our cute member Sydney bought us chickFila and we met her dog Howie he's so cute. Then we had a member meal with our friends kaelyn and Keith and they're adorable they're totally gonna get married. Kaelyn made us some delicious gnocchi with chicken it was awesome! Then we had a member meal with awesome Nikki and she gave us pizza and we at like 8 pieces each. She also has a little doggo!! What's up yall!?? This week has been the craziest week of my life... Lets hop into travel day on Thursday! Woke up  at 2:30  and headed out with my buddies that were all going to Chile! Said goodbye to my dope companion and hopped on the bus to the airport at like 3 in the morning. Got to the airport and said goodbye to my awesome friends and elder Hanson 😭 and hopped on my flight all by myself like a big girl 💪  Arrived at the giant atlanta airport and took a while to get through customs but it was chill. The senior missionaries picked me up and we drove to the mission president Farias' house in peachtree city! They have such a classic georgia casa. We did interviews and I met some other missionaries that came from the provo mtc! Then we stayed the night at some sisters house and that next morning we had the transfer meeting where I met my super awesome new companion Sister Boggess!   This past week has been a blast. Im so sad im leaving my district. They are quite literally the best ever!! Ill remember them forever! This sunday  in sacrament meeting i was able to give a cute little talk in spanish along with elder limón and my companion. Then our district sang a musical number for our last week. We sang the Mothers day song I often go walking and we may have made sweet hermana cutler and hermana allred in that room cry. Hermana Cutler is so amazing, she got all the Girls cute friendship bracelets in relief society and gave us chocolate. She is so awesome. Then after church we took district pictures and ate dinner which included CHEESECAKE!!! oh so good. Our district loves to go to the George Albert Smith building and elder Hanson played the piano.   Howdy guys! This week was eventful and fun but i cannot remember half of it. So lets start off with today! Today we went to the temple and did sealings and it was so amazing! Yesterday we said goodbye to our favorite other district at the ccm, it was a little sad but i am so excited for them, they're the best. Every night we have an apartament devotional and i live for it. Its so fun and such a good way to end the day. One of our devotionals we watched fireworks for cinco de mayo through our window and sang Disney music. Yesterday we played kahoot, and the top 3 winners got to pick a punishment for the others. I was unfortunately not in the top 3 and i had to wear a sticky note under my nametag that said i was a loser at kahoot. The thing is this week we are now solo español (we can only speak spanish in class) and so we have to wear sticky notes that say solo español. So when people walk up to me and say "oh!   This week was pretty normal, nothing too interesting. We played volleyball which is always fun.🏐We had a bienvenidos meeting for our New district in our zone, and the other two zones in our district left today. So elder hanson and elder saltzman are our New zone leaders! I directed the choir on sunday which was a blast, we sang 'if the savior stood beside me' and it was very pretty. Not much else happened, or at least i cant think of anything. 🧡Todays little spiritual thought is that when we are examples to others, we are not trying to make them more like us, we are trying to get them to be more like christ. Christ is the perfect example, so whenever youre trying to be an example to others, be like christ.🧡
