  Intros to emails are so hard. We received a request from someone to meet with us this week. They clicked on a post and it took them to a website where they signed up to meet the missionaries. We went out to visit him IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE, and... We show up. He seems cool. Hes very welcoming. We sat down and started to teach him about prophets. He kept asking us if we could feel the spirit and we were like 🤷‍♀️ sure. Then he asked us multiple times if we could read his mind. Anyway the lesson was pretty good so we set up a time to come back. Then that night we got a text from him,  "do you believe in love at first sight?" "No we don't." Stay safe out there, kids. We had interviews with President on friday. On the way back, me and my comp came up with a sweet idea to have a couple lessons out in the middle of nowhere again. We snagged a member and asked if she could drive all the way out to help us in the lessons and then take us home, and she said yes! So ...

  Wooooooo what a week! Lets just jump right into the highlights, shall we? Roll the tapes🫡 We exchanged with the Auburn sisters and I went to Auburn (of course) with Sister Sala. She's a hoot and a half. We tanned at lunch😎, and had the most hilarious lesson with these people from India you just had to be there. The old guy absolutely loves the Book of Mormon videos lol Lawler went to the temple!!! And we got to go with her and the Stackhouse family. They're the best. On the car ride home we sung youth songs and they talked about their crushes lol 🤭 what else do you expect from 16 year olds 🤷‍♀️ We put our friend Nicholaos (yes that's how you spell his name) on date for baptism. He's funny. There was a storm this weekend, though. And we haven't heard from him since the storm--> so stay tuned to see if he's still alive!! 🤗 We caught a lizard and it's currently chillin in our apartment. It may or may not have escaped. 🦎 We'll get him a frog buddy...

 

  Yeah! Leprosy No, Sid. 4 letters, ends with an E. Ohhh yeah... Lice. Recap rewiiiiind! 🥁🥁🥁         DUN. DUN. DUNNNNNN. TRANSFERS!! I have a new companion here in Chewacla, her name's Sister Christensen and she's literally a baller. Plays basketball and volleyball 😮 she's  awesome.  I love her to death already. The morning of transfers me and Sister Carter stayed back and our companions drove to the transfer meeting without us, meaning I didn't get to see all the awesome people but it is what it is 🫠. BUT that meant that I got to spend the morning with Sister Carter 🥰 These past few days we've been on the grind and boy it feels good to be a missionary! We are seeing so many miracles! To recap a few:    - we met a kid named Nick who has been so prepared for the gospel it's freaky.   Best weekend ever! Don't get too excited now. Let's run it back🏂 Friday we had MLC (mission leadership conference). Ok so not that exciting... but revelatory as always. Saturday was the big one. It was sweet. Sister April House got to go to the  temple  for the  first time  and we got to go with her!!🕺🕺 And by the grace of God we not only went to her baptisms that she'd done for her ancestors, but Brother House got endowed!!! We very luckily went to that too. Our mission president is awesome. So yeah that took all day. Then on our way home, they took us to a hibachi. Top that. Sunday... 🌻 LAWLER GOT BAPTIZED!!! 🪻 what a  sweet sweet  day. I love her. The member family that has brought her to church and taken her in, the Stackhouses, did it all! Then we got to eat dinner with them and Lawler and it was just the best. She's got great things ahead of her. That was my weekend. You better bet it was the best weekend of my life so far!
